While on a business trip to Ohio in April 2017 and before we decided to create the Conquer 1000 List, Dan and I discussed seeing a game at all 30 Major League Baseball stadiums. I was raised a Cubs fan, and he a White Sox fan. Obviously the Chicago stadiums we knew were going to be fun. First up Wrigley Field! Dan had never been to Wrigley, so it was exciting to show him my team's stadium.

A friend of mine has season tickets and we were lucky enough to get tickets to see them play their division rivals, The Cardinals. As you can see from Dan's shirt, The Cardinals are his National league team.

Wrigley is the second oldest park in Major League baseball, and originally opened in 1914 under the name Weeghman Field. It was renamed Wrigley Field in 1927. Known as the "Friendly Confines" to many -- a nickname Hall of Famer, Ernie Banks, gave his home field.

The field, seats, scoreboard, and....even the newly added big screens...make me feel all sorts of nostalgic. It truly is an amazing place to watch America's favorite pastime.
